Our Process
Surface Preparation
We begin by preparing the concrete substrate. Using advanced diamond grinders and shot-blasters, we remove imperfections, open up the concrete pores, and patch any cracks to ensure maximum adhesion for the Alkares base system.
01Deep-Penetrating Base Coat
Next, we apply a high-performance primer and moisture vapor barrier. This layer penetrates deep into the concrete pores, sealing out vapor and creating a flawless, chemically bonded anchor for the subsequent Alkares layers.
02Design & Texture Broadcast
Depending on your chosen aesthetic, we apply decorative flakes, quartz sand, or metallic swirls into the wet base coat. This step builds the core thickness and injects the striking visual personality of your new floor.
03High-Wear Protective Finish
To lock in the design, we apply a clear, heavy-duty top coat. This UV-stable, chemical-resistant layer provides the final protective shield, ensuring a lifetime of high-impact wear and pristine gloss.
